About the event

- What we're up to -

It's never too late to get outside and meet some plant pals! Bundle up and join us for our first in-person frolic of 2021 (ugh - we miss you folks) in Picton, Prince Edward County. We'll be wandering about looking for and talking about the remaining roots, fruits and seeds of the season. Join us if you are up for embracing the elements and making some new friends over plants.

- What to bring -

Yourself dressed for the weather (rain or shine) - that includes footwear that will keep you warm and dry! A face mask or shield Thermos with warm tea (recommended) Tasty snack to share (wild-food inspired is awesome but not necessary!)

- Keep in mind -

Wild Foragers Society leverages the outdoor classroom - we respect the local by-laws and private property and do not harvest during frolics without permission. Frolics are lead in English, we will walk as a group for approximately 2 km.

We'll be taking the following precautions in response to COVID-19: ~Reduced group size to max 20 ~Mandatory pre-registration for contact tracing (ticket link above) ~Practicing physical distancing and having masks available ~Hand-sanitizer available

- How to get there -

We're departing from Becky's house in Picton. If you're driving, you can park on West Mary Street, or in the lot at the bottom of West Mary + Lake Street (near Agrarian Market or the LCBO).

Late or lost? Call/text Becky at 613-503-1309
